I am a South African-born, Croatia-based fine-art photographer exploring the human condition through a practice centred on fleeting moments. I see my photography not merely as the capture of images but as an engagement in an ongoing visual dialogue, transforming subjects and spaces into powerful, introspective metaphors. This search for stillness within a transient world forms the foundation of my work, inviting viewers to explore familiar visual languages and reflect on their own inner selves in the continuum of the universe. My still life series, Portrait of Transience, honours this passage of time and the cycle of life through the permanence of organic decay, elevating the ephemeral to a position of lasting significance.
My current series, The Spaces Between Us, expands this investigation into the public sphere, exploring the psychological landscape of the connection and private silence of people.
I earned my Master’s in Psychology (Cum Laude) in South Africa, specialising in child psychosocial development and mental health. Along with my travels, this background deeply informs my current inquiry into the unscripted realities of belonging and isolation.
